I was brought up in Falls Church, VA when it was a small town of 1647 people. For 24 years I was in the restaurant business in Metropolitan Washington, D.C., regionally and nationally serving 20 years as an executive with various chains. In 1977 I bought my first (of seven) old houses and have since lived on all three Chesapeake Bay peninsulas in historic houses as well as Richmond. I am an unadulterated history and old house nut thus blending my avocation and vocation into one. I have been selling houses with character since 1987.
